salam all,
i have a quastion to all men here. do you want your wife to put on hijab and why?
someone told me becouse he doesn't want poeple to see the hair of his wife.he saied ' she is mine. i don't want others share her with me' . i think this is unexapteble. i mean this has got to do with religion and not becouse a man doesn't want people to see his wife.
i'm wondering what the girls too think about it.
let's start with my idea about it. i think a man should never force a women to put hijab on. to put on hijab is a very big step and it changes the way of life of that women. i think a women should only do it if she feels she is ready for it. not becouse her husband wants her to put it on or becouse the family of her husband won't be sattesfied.

Dear sir,
i think that the "hijab" did not (and never) prevent a woman from doing her everyday works or any other things. many women wearing hijab entered the history.
the matter is not to do with the hair or hand, it is about the woman herself. by the way when i said hijab, i mean the real hijab not the recent hijab that destry the idea and the goal of hijab.
thanks. zaid humadi Baghdad. Iraq.

Assalamoalekum! hello everyone!! im new here, just registered today. im a woman, 22 from metro manila philippines. just turned 22 last august 9. anyway, i wanna ask about the hijab. actually i was a catholic but i converted into Islam 2 months ago. well, i wanna ask if hijab is only for married muslimah or for single women like me. i agree with you both but i myself doesnt wear hijab all the time. i mean, i tried to put one but i took it off when i got home. honestly i am not ready to wear it. i really thought its for married women only, its a must, but i got confused. do u think it would be okay if i put on the hijab when i am ready? my family doesnt want me wearing it. they are born again christians by the way. i really really need ur help. i know this is not related to ur topic but since hijab is discussed i asked.
thank you very much.... Elaine "Yasmeen" Phils
